Monthly
files in CSV (comma separated values) format containing
data from meteorological and environmental sensors and
standard WMO weather observations.
Each line corresponds to hourly or three-hourly observations
and each column correspond to one variable according
to the table below. Observations actually correspond
to the average of 10 minutes preceeding
the round hour, in a total of 600 readings
- one every second.

:: .XLS Data Description:
Monthly
spreadsheets in MS-Excel format containing data
from meteorological and environmental sensors and standard
WMO weather observations. The .XLS spreadsheets use
the same distribution of lines and columns as the
CSV files described above.
They also incorporate
a section with three-hourly and monthly
statistics (mean, standard deviation, maximum,
minimum and number of events) for each parameter,
a Beuafort scale-based frequency distribution
of winds and graphs of monthly variation of
wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure,
solar radiation, air temperature and soil temperature
at 5 and 20 cm. Headers and titles are in Portuguese.

Data
EACF data are available
since Dec/1985 and is being loaded
to this homepage according to the table
below. Each ASCII .CSV file is approximately
30 Kb in size. Excel .XLS files are approximately 250
Kb. A compressed file containing the 12 monthly CSV
files for the year with~120 Kb in size is also
available for download. Click on the link your
choice to access the files.
To
open these files directly on your Spreadheet: a) place
cursor over selected file in the table below; b) click
right button of the mouse and select "Copy Link";
c) start your spreadsheet program
and choose "file > open"; d) place
the mouse cursor at the window asking the file
name, and press together the keys " CTRL" and "
v" to paste the data file location, and then, the "Return/Enter"
key.
Data subject
to errors and innaccuracies. Before using, send us a message
specifying the period of interest.
